Anybody who didn’t want Labour in already signed the petition by voting against them in the general election. And that was a far greater number than is singing the petition, which has no weight because it’s simply a regurgitation of mostly a subset of the same votes with a sizeable contribution from Russian bots and other people who are not eligible to vote on the U.K.

Those petitions should require a gov.uk verified ID login.

In fact it’s the same people who were outraged at similar petitions by remainders after the Brexit vote.
