he's exciting etc etc and his performance in 2003/4 should have got him POTS.
But football is a team game and he does bugger up the team shape. Too poor a finisher (and too much of a tendency to drfit wide) to be a striker, too non-existent in the tackle to be a wide midfielder. It's no coincidence that we have generally looked vulnerable at teh back ever since we switched to a Hucks+2 strikers 4-3-3 at the back end of the Championship winning season. If you look at what he does do in isolation he is great, but if you look at the whole package, includinh what he doesn't do and his affect of the overall shape of the team there are just too may negatives to make my top 10. I do love his attitude though, and 30 years ago (when the game was less professional and there was more scope for mavericks) he'd have been a real star. Unfortunate for him that he was born too late to be great.
