Live8 tickets on Ebay

The link below that meeky posted suggests that it is outrageous and that the tickets shoudln't be sold on but returned to Live8 if people don't want to go.

How much more money does this raise? None, but it would add to the administrative costs associated to Live8.

Allowing the onward sale of Live8 tickets by individuals for a profit has probably raised more than the solution suggested above and certainly doesn't cost Live8 in admin charges.

Whilst I personally wouldn't want to make money out of this event, I sold concert tickets in the past at a profit and do not see why this should be seen as any different to any other product.

It just annoys me to see the PC brigade getting all wound up.
