Anyone know - if Rooney scan was inconclusive, and so we decide to take him

but he's obviously not fit yet - could we decide to drop, say, Jenas, and call up another striker?

Or are we now at the stage where a player has to actually be injured to be replaced?

(Just that I can see us going into the WC with a still-knacked Rooney - in which case striker resources do look very meagre....)
