it's excellent - what amateurs and evening leagues have been

playing for years. it's not just about slogging - it's about playing good cricket and improvising.

and if anything the bowlers have to be even more skilful to succeed so it helps their development for 50-over cricket and longer games too. they have to introduce more variation and get the yorkers right.

best thing to happen to cricket for decades.
