If England go 1 up in an important game they need to carry on playing on not just have Beckham hoofin it forward whilst the oppostion realise that it's the only avenue of service, therefore no variation from the other flank

Don't sit on a one goal advantage when they aren't a defencive unit to see the result out (see portugal, brazil, france.....)
