... and the client I went to see was one of those. Painfully pre-operative. Dressed like a right goth too, which didn't help matters. Big hairy man's hands, stubble and an adam's apple.

Called herself Claire, IIRC. Couldn't stop starting at the bobbing Adam's apple while she told me about the system I was replacing.

Couldn't get out of the office fast enough. Fucking high quote too, to make sure we didn't get the gig.
