OK, I'm going to try guessing the last week's developments

After a week away without any NCFC news, and without having looked at the Pink Un or scrolling down the Board, I am going to try guessing what's happened.

We have signed no new players.

Alternatively, we have signed one 30+ journeyman defender who is versatile and could do a job for us anywhere across the back four (or fill in in midfield).

After much trumpeting of the people we COULD have appointed, we have appointed whoever was the deputy coach as head coach.

Worthy has said fans must be realistic and not expect big money signings (ie anyone over ?250,000).

Delia has said Worthy is wonderful.

On this board, pre World Cup tension is running high and SCC has come to blows with everyone about patriotism, especially pants and Brandonio. Arguments rage about Lampard v Gerrard, whether Beckham is worth his place, and whether Crouch is any good. There is general gloom about the injury to Greeno and its impact on the transfer budget.
