Plus.. goal difference could be essential if we are to finish top & to progress to the 1/4 finals.

Also, (and noone mentioned this last night) from an organisational point of view, its not always possible to set up the friendlies you want.

I dunno, Brazil spanked some no-marks 8-0 the other day. I bet no-ones questioning their build up. They are the best prepared national side in the world and always have been. They leave nothing to chance - that's why they have the record they have. If playing lightweights works for them then it can't be that wrong.

Still... I like taking the piss out of you, and others, but it seemed liked it got a bit too naughty last night!
