So I'm a racist am I?

Just thought I would let you know that I spent two years living in Birmingham and during that time I had an Asian girlfriend for about 3 months until her family found out. They basically threatened to kill me if I continued seeing their daughter (a bit racist I think). I also went out with an Iranian girl for over a year and that only finished because she got fed up with me travelling to see Norwich play every weekend.

I have also worked very closely with both black and asian colleagues and have no problem in doing so.

The problem seems to be that people are too touchy and easily offended. I am a tall (lanky) white bloke with big ears. Do I get offended by jokes about lanky big earred white guys? No, in fact if someone pokes fun at me and it is just fun then I just take it as a joke and even laugh if I find the remark funny.

A bit like having a dig at your opponent on the footy field and then having a drink with them afterwards.
