I don't expect the bank to be broken...

But i do expect us to show a degree of ambition in the summer approaching a vital season. If we do not get up next season then it has major implications for our playing squad the season after and indeed with the new TV deal for the prem for our long term future league position.

This being the case to hear that we cannot afford a crap player I don't even want from a poor Championship team is rather worrying.
