The simple point is

that Worthy LOVES buying and selling players (why?). So rather than give Jarvis a go, he signed Peter Thorne's dad. Rather than give Henderson a go in his proper position he signed Lisbie. Rather than try Charlie at centre back he signed Davenport. And Rehman.
