Walcott

Nowhere near international level yet. He looked totally lost. Despite his obvious pace and shooting ability it seems he needs a year or two of playing Prem before he'll be up to the standard as far as off-the ball movement and anticipation at that level goes.

Other notes:

Hargreaves is s**te. Finally we see him in his real position and even in that he is crap, so that's that settled.
Oh for Ledley King.
I know a lot of people will ignore all the evidence just to knock him, but Beckham is still the most important player on the field for England. He created every single real chance up until the Crouch goal - some coming from nothing.
Really worried about the depth up front if Rooney doesn't go. In fact even if he does go.
Joe Cole - never substitute him cos he seems to get better as the game goes on.

And finally... Know what I would have done last night if it had been an important game ? Kept the 4-5-1 shape but taken off Lampard (not his best game), put Beckham in the middle and Lennon on the right.
