But this idea they cost more is wrong as well
If you sign them a month earlier on a 3 year deal then surely their contract ends a month earlier as well. We don't sign them for 3 years and one month. Either way you end up paying them for a month in the summer whether its at the beginning or the end of their contract. I asked Ferrari about this and he said something along them lines of "yes but how many players actually see out their contract."
