I think it's who he's playing against that's the issue

Sven seems to think that a holding midfielder should basically be a tackler (Ledley King, Jamie Carragher) rather than a distributor (Carrick).

Dunno, maybe he's right. No-one ever seems to comment on the fact that Makalele's passing is pretty sh*t. And same goes for Gilberto Silva at Arsenal.
