No, it's always a gamble signing a striker, of course it is. I just have a feeling he'll do well there: Beattie's an intelligent player and I think they'll work out well.
I still don't like the bastard, mind, nor do I like Everton, so I wouldn't mind if it turned out a flop. But there you go.
