Two centres in Berlin ...
But Mitte is the real centre (the other's round Zoo station). Plenty to see and do round there although it's got more touristy over the years. Prenzlauerberg was the place to be in my day, but I'm lead to understand that Friedrichshein is the place to be seen these days.
