In reply to the Grinch posts yesterday, I want to say that I love Christmas!

I love getting together with family. I love seeing my very elderly parents come alive chatting to their grandchildren. I love the silly family traditions (we have a darts tournament and a cold swim). I love board games and jigsaws and doing the Christmas Jumbo (not that Jumbo) crosswords by the fire. I love the crisp days and the cosy indoors. I love carols and mulled wine and decorating the house. I love Christmas dinner and sausage rolls and goose/turkey sarnies and a fridge full of yummy leftovers. I love village get-togethers. I love exchanging Christmas cards with people I like but rarely see because of geography. I love a few days when no-one is sending emails.

I absolutely ❤️love❤️ Christmas!!🎄
