I have an entire cupboard dedicated to that

Batteries, light bulbs, cables, plugs, car bulbs, chargers, plasters and drugs, things that might come in useful one day but wont, the ashes of our last 2 dogs, and my dad.

It's an unusual cupboard for sure.
