It was right to play him in this friendly as it's so close to the World Cup
However, there have been plenty of other friendlies where nothing has been gained by playing James (love him or hate him, we know what he's about) and where Greeno (and maybe others such as Carson) would have benefited from the experience. It sounds like Greeno was a bit nervous last night - perhaps he'd have been more relaxed had he got a few friendlies under his belt?
