Nope mine is on the wall...

and looks the dogs danglies there too. We already had a floating shelf above with downlighters underneath... and a unit on the floor housing Sky+, DVD, Surround sound amp etc. Sits in between perfectly, and gives the lounge a feeling of much more space.
