Line up. Only seen John’s band since the split as Les’s band mainly tour in Europe. Mel(the drummer) died of cancer and Woolly (keyboards) took his own life only a few years ago. I visited his bench over looking his favourite spot at Dovestones Reservoir last time we were here. John has said that he’s not touring anymore and these two gigs will be performed with a full orchestra, much like they used to in the early 70s. They’re an odd lot, commercially not that successful in the uk but did very well in Germany. They constantly played on the same bill as Genesis, Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, even Bowie…..
