The best thing about the Clarke rumour

is that he can apparently play THREE positions!!! Left back, left mid and "can also" play right back. So the Pink Un gives us this fantastic piece of Goebbels-speak -
"Clarke can also play at right back, as he proved when helping the Hammers to a famous victory over Arsenal at Highbury in February, so he would also provide competition for the likes of Craig Fleming and Jurgen Colin if he joined the Canaries."

Note the cunning reference to the fact that he played RB against Arsenal! In a game they won!! So he MUST be BRILLIANT at RB!! It's obvious, dear moron reader. And what's more, he's SO BRILLIANT in his THIRD CHOICE position that he might EVEN be good enough to displace Fleming (aged CB who hadn't played RB for years before this season) or Colin (useless journeyman who wants to play CB anyway). WOW!!! HE'S THAT GOOD!!

(Funny how they didn't mention Jean Pierre Louis Matthieu, or whatever the heck his name is.)
