Agree.
Some times managers want one of their ex-players around for more than playing reasons. Someone they trust at the training ground, in the dressing room. Talking, listening. Finding out who's plugged in to the new boss and who isn't.
Bondy did it here, so did Lambert. There'll be myriad other examples. Farke likes a group around him he knows, hence his coaching team going everywhere with him.
I'm sure the £££ on offer to Kenny might be tempting. But if we ever had to hold hard, now's the time.
