Could make a decent argument that every murderer would have psychological issues

When I say murderer, I mean people who kill with intent so not necessarily those who have killed in self defence.

Certainly for pre-meditated murder. I don't think anybody could do that if they didn't have some sort of mental illness. Even the "crime of passion" style murder points at serious issues with anger / rage.
