Its incredibly hard to make money in niche journalism.

I will give an example of a youtuber who went from niche to mainstream and is doing incredibly well.

She started off a few years ago just covering her team Bolton Wanderers, as soon as she moved into general football her channel took off.
This one video alone has almost 2.4 million views.
