Immigration policy defined by a footballer most noted for soiling themselves on the pitch in the world cup. Energy policy defined by an angry Swedish imbecile (sorry - I spent the best part of 20 years working in green energy research so I feel comfortable using the his term).
At what point do we listen to those with actual qualifications - actual expertise - in defining policy? The answer is that point is well past us. Example. Option [A] energy policy defined by an expert in energy policy which is accurate but unpopular with the masses. Option [B] energy policy is defined by an imbecile, having no correlation to reality but popular with the masses. Which viewpoint wins the election? The imbecile wins. This is the age of idiotocracy. You define this transition more than anyone. Morons leading morons.
