General view seems to be he was carrying their team for most of the season and they completely tailed off when he got injured (or possibly fell out with the other players due to a hissy fit/frustration).
"I sympathise with Tom Ince , there’s him , a quality player , better than all the others , running his nuts off , and most of the rest , just not capable of putting in an adequate performance . Is it any wonder that he has a blast at them , I’m just amazed it took him so long ."
