The strange thing is there a tons of areas on a cruise ship that are empty.
Most ships also have adult only areas if you don't like kids.
Virgin Voyages has no kids at all.
There is also a vast difference in experience depending on cruise line.
There are tons of smaller ship cruise lines such as Star Clippers which have 172 guests and around 70 crew.

You can go on expedition cruises both small and large.
There are even rock cruises and wrestling cruises.
If it was so terrible then why does it continue to grow at a huge rate.
