Of course we looked better with him and Gibson than with Andy O and Sorensen, one a novice and the other a midfielder.

I don’t agree with the Hanley slating, but equally I’m not entirely convinced with the Gibson Hanley pairing.

We’ll be signing two CBs this summer i presume. Maybe one on loan, and maybe a third if we sell Andy O.

I agree whoever plays CB will benefit from a proper defensive midfielder, but equally importantly if we’re to play out from the back, someone that can play that quarter back role. Often the mistakes come from the defence being pressed back because our midfield aren’t good enough to receive the ball and move it forward, always going back to the CB or out to the full back, who then passes to the CB getting deeper and deeper until we’re f**ked.
