I don't think I've ever watched a women's game from beginning to end

So I've got some sympathy with his view - but it's the clumsy way he put it that's guaranteed to annoy people, and the fact that in his position he has a responsibility to encourage broad participation, not make it sound likes he thinks the women's game is a bit crap
