Farke had a weak squad and was improving it with cheap or free players
More importantly there was a clear style and you could see what he was trying to do even if it wasn’t clear it was going to work at that point.
Right now club seems to be overpaid and unbalanced players all past their best with no obvious style of play and no ability at all to recruit well
