Full time yesterday

I didn't agree with the abuse the players got from sections of the fans at the final whistle yesterday. Some really seem to get off at screaming obscenities, giving the middle finger / w**ker signs and generally snarling like a rabid jack russel.

I didn't see any lack of effort from the team during the game - they just weren't good enough and Wagners tactics of chucking on a load of strikers in the desperate, vain hope that it would work certainly didn't help those on the pitch.

The players didn't deserve the abuse they got. Poor old Rowe stayed right back and seemed a bit shaken by it whereas Teemu looked absolutely crestfallen with it all as he gazed up at the away following.
