Thankfully, Mr Splatt gave me some proper leather gloves to put the needles from my little bin area into the paint pot.

I have sympathy with addicts but there just isn't the help for them anymore. I don't understand why we don't have safe rooms for them as in other countries, with fresh needles etc. At least it would stop a lot of the needles being left on Rosary rud and other areas.

The truth is it needs investment into stopping it in the first place and helping addicts to come off it rather than criminalizing it but that costs money and governments through the age don't see it as a vote winner. So nothing changes.

Ulitmatley it would save huge amounts of money and more importanly lives but I suppose culture wars have to take precedence. I find it an odd world. Power is all and all that.
