That is the most open central midfield pairing possible. Nunez and Sara. Neither have any defensive qualities. We needed someone to screen in front of the back four. For Wagner to offer no protection to an already weak centre back partnership was just negligent. It should've either been Byram at CB with Sorensen moved into the middle or Hayden starting.
