The stars of the game have proved that they can't behave though

I've watched most of the play off games this weekend with prem referees and I've seen tackles in those games that would warrant a yellow in the prem, some where a yellow was shown would be a red

Barring the Grimsby match where a lot of cards were handed out, the play off games have been pretty well handled and natured

This is because officials aren't dealing with superstars, diving, whingers, foul language, bully etc

You get to a champs game, and the referee is doing the most difficult job going

If henry has the nerve to say a ref was wearing a barcelona shirt, then just imagine what he says to a ref during the game, along with 21 other players

A lot of the time, an officials performance is down to whether the players want to play football or whether the win at all costs players turn up

Sadly at the top of football, it's win at all cost, and that means a ref will have to work out who's cheating him and who isn't

I wouldn't like to do it
