Expectations, isn't it?
On the road, the fans expect a bit less and therefore are more patient.
At home, we expect more, and consequently are more disappointed when things don't go how we want them too.
I was in South Stand H block yesterday, no season ticket holders there presumably, given it can be used for away fans, and full of part timers like me. It was pretty quiet, almost entirely families, but no dissent / moaning / complaining.
