The why play Pukki question. Well….
7 of our starting XI today were 23 or younger.
Of the four subs, only Giannoulis was over the age of 22.
And we had a 20 year old captain. I think another facet of Pukki was a bit of an older head out there with such a young squad.
Only outfield players older than 23: Lungi (25), Pukki (33), Onel (30) and Giannoulis (27).
Suppose that’s also a good thing.
