Stale is the word.

I think we’re all a bit stale. Everyone is just kind of going through the motions, including the fans, in the knowledge that while we’re not terrible, we’re probably exactly where we should be in the league. And it is hard to go wild about this, when everyone has fresh memories of Emi-Pukki etc ripping this league a new one. This is all, just as a matter of fact, a bit crap compared to that, and it’s not surprising that nobody is “feeling it”. The sense that we have missed a golden opportunity these last few years only adds to it, as does the realisation that we haven’t got any money left, so it’s going to get worse before it gets better. Next season really could be proper s**t.
