It does seem that football is doing it worse than other sports
I dont mind making it the default for offside, which is pretty close to a factual thing, in the same way we are now all used to goal line tech. Otherwise I like the appeal system. Works well in cricket, albeit I appreciate the sport is very different. But in American Football doesnt each team have a small number of reviews they can call for when they think a howler has been made? That model seems good to me, and will stop constant trips to VAR land.
