I don’t think they claim they’d avoid being spanked

I think their complaint is more that clubs like NCFC have had loads of PL cash and aren’t really any better for it, so would be better to see some different clubs have a go.

I can see that point of view. It’s overly simplistic, but as an outsider to NCFC, we would seem to most like a somewhat pointless addition to the PL next season we’re we to be promoted. We’ve had several goes already that have ended the same way. Why would next season be any different?
