There’s not been a lot of post weekend match chat on here has there?

(In fact there’s not really been a lot of chat altogether) Anyway, here are a few thoughts from me:

1. Wasn’t it cold? The sun shining into the house beforehand was deceptive and I was nearly caught out. VERY glad I bunged a pair of gloves in my bag as I was on my way out.

2. I had a Pavlovian response when the first goal went in and started singing ‘der der der der du du der der der…’ I did my own silent commentary for the Zorb game at half time (which was much better than the usual one you get on the PA, if I do say so myself)

3. It’s not perfect but David Swagger’s* team is much more fun to watch than Deansmith’s. There definitely seems more structure and purpose in the play and it’s exciting watching all the new lads develop

4. Felt so sorry for Adam Idah. Did far more right than wrong. Really didn’t like hearing the Barclay singing to Teemu straight after. It sounded pointed and not what was needed.
