Foo thoughts

Just back. First home game live for a while. Atmosphere remains strangely flat although better than under Smith.

Weird game. Could and should have won by four or five yet somehow made it tight. There remains a sloppy/complacent streak in this side that rears its head too regularly and makes life hard for us. We lost our grip on the game for the first half of the second half when we really should have been trying to kill it off.

But a win is a win. Again good for the confidence and momentum. Sara was good and that role looks like Nunez best position to me. It will be important if we aren’t playing Pukki up front as we will need more goals from midfield.

Mixed bag for Idah. He should have had two or three and I think had Pukki been playing we would have been completely out of sight by half time. However I thought Idah kept going well, grew into the gsme and in the second half produced a very good “target man” performance bringing others into the game.
