Press conference coming up at 🔟am 📰
-----------------------------------------------------------------

DW: “Both Angus Gunn and Ben Gibson have trained this week, so will be available.”

DW on Angus and Ben: "Both good. Both were in full training for the week and will be part of the squad for the weekend if nothing extraordinary happens in the last training today."

DW on Burnley: "We analysed and spoke about the game earlier in the week. It was a normal meeting, what went wrong was clear and obvious."

DW: "Every game is a new chapter, home or away. We make ourselves independent from the opponent, we stick to our principles. Whether we are home or away, we stick to our principles."

DW: (on Bristol) “We take everything how it comes. We will respect them. We have to play them and we are looking forward to it.”

DW: “I will not look at the league table, as everything can change in three days.”

DW: “We have 2500 fans backing us, which is amazing. We can feel the energy of our away supporters. We want to give them something to cheer about.”

DW on selection: "Every decision I make is what I think is best for the team and this is what I will always do. Everyone has an opinion but I know that it comes down to me."

DW on Tim Krul: “I’m not strong on social media. I understand that everybody has an opinion. But ultimately only one man makes that decision on the goalkeeper, and that is me.”

DW: “We should not over or underestimate situations. The second goal at Coventry, we broke through their press. What I wanted to say, sometimes opponents press you high. We must stick to our values.”

DW reflection on Burnley: “It was so clear what went wrong in this game. We gifted them goals and we missed the chance to make a statement. It’s another big game ahead of us at Bristol City.”

DW: "It was a clear conversation, it was so clear what went wrong, especially the three goals. It should not happen, we missed a chance to give a statement. We have another big game now against Bristol, it doesn't make sense to focus on Burnley too much."

DW: "What makes me happy and confident is that players are knocking on the door. There is competition all over the place and some others will start in the next two weeks."

DW on FA charge: “I have to give myself a second before I answer, so I look serious. I understand the behaviour of my players. Even I had to stay calm and not sprint towards the ref. As a human and footballer, I can understand the behaviour of my players.”

DW: “The EFL confirmed that we should have had a penalty against Burnley for the handball.”

DW: “Bristol are a team that like to play football. We know they are confident. I’m ready for the game and my team are too.”

That's all folks.
