Just goes to show that premier league football is not about how clever and smart the manager and scouting is now.
It’s all about who has the richest owners. £300m written off in 10 years! Alright they won the title in a season where everything fell into place. But most of the time they have been middling at best and even almost got relegated the season after they won the league.
And they got promoted to the premier league when they spent the whole season in administration.🤬
