Am I the only one who has no interest in all these stats?

I think most of it is irrelevant because if a game doesn't pan out as expected then the stats and tactics quickly change. Seems that there's a whole industry of amateur 'tactical experts' who're trying to make the game far more complicated than it actually is. Incidentally, I don't need all this information to be able to quickly recognise the differences between Smith and Wagner and IMHO a massive chunk is simply motivating the players.
