I loved the fact that he didn’t hang Dimi out to dry

Paddy asked him a question about the HT sub and the tactical changes. Tbf, the question wasn’t leading him to do it, but he could well have said “Dimi had a really poor half, it happens, I needed to take him out of the firing line…”. He didn’t do that at all. The problem wasn’t just left, it was right, centre, attack, defence, lack of structure all over.

I’m sure he’ll want a lot more from Dimi, but he hasn’t made it a Dimi situation, but something the team needed to fix.
