It’s going to be an interesting second half of the season

First few games of the season, the opposition seemed wary of us and tended to sit in a bit and give us more respect than we deserved. Managers seemed to realise this and had more of a go, which yielded results. I think that showed too in the fact we didn’t beat anyone good as as soon as anyone went toe to toe with us, we tended to come unstuck.

If we keep playing like we did yesterday, we’re going to have a v good chance of beating anyone that goes toe-to-toe given not many sides have a player of pukki’s quality upfront. Plus aarons, Giannoulis, dowell…

I think wagner’s style might be a bit less effective if teams sit in, which if we keep playing well, they surely will. Looking forward to seeing how things evolve. It’s obviously not going to be plain sailing all the way, but at last, some hope and something interesting to get behind.
