well setting aside the melodramatics

both of them inherited a team near the bottom of the championship, and have turned them into top-half championship teams, with a year of parachute payments to come. I'd say we're in similar positions (although they'll have a wodge of Johnson cash to spend shortly - guess that puts them a bit ahead).
