A few off of on here have made negative comments about players fitness, & it seems the SS regime was a bit more laid back: more days off & single training sessions with none of the extra training beloved of the previous regime. I gather the new manager is at Colney today and there’s an extra late session already in for tomorrow, a promising start …. although that might be as much about getting to know you than a precedent on training policy.

As regards Wagner, whilst I understand there were mitigating factors at Schalke, I do have a niggling doubt about the appointment & the Webber prior link making it all rather convenient. Time will tell whether it’s a master stroke or the results equivalent of Ipswich’s Lambert appointment.
